In September, the Wilmore City Council:
- Approved the annexation of 7.8 acres and 23 lots for single
family homes adjacent to Butler and Woodspointe subdivisions,
contingent on a "tot lot" being donated to the City by the
developers.
- Passed an ordinance changing the amount charged for business
licenses and using the money generated to fund projects of
Wilmore's Community Development Board.
- Passed an "Intent to Annex" 1.9 acres, including one home
owned by Bill and Gail Ward.
- Approved a sidewalk along 1268, connecting Kinlaw Drive with
existing sidewalks for south access. The project cost $7300,
with Asbury College paying $1500.
- Sent a recommendation to the planning commission for a
new ordinance for Retreat Lands and Special Events.
