Boy Scout News

The October Cub Scout pack meeting theme was "Fire! Fire!"  Special thanks to Bill Penland and the Wilmore Fire Department for their help and for bringing a fire truck to the pack meeting.

The following boys were awarded the Bobcat badge:  Joshua Kimble, B.J. Penland, Tyler Murray, and David Colter.  The Bear rank badge was awarded to Nathan Ray and Scott Evely.

The November pack meeting theme will be "Family Circus".  Each Den is to make a circus train box car.  The train will be assembled at the pack meeting on Nov. 20.  We will have some clowns help us with the meeting.

Boy Scout Troop 55's November theme is "Manufacturing".  The troop will tour the Ford Truck Plant in Louisville on Nov. 14-15.  The troop also hopes to have a trip to Stanton Racing to learn how midget racing engines are assembled and tested.
