
In June, the Wilmore City Council:
- Increased utility and sanitation fees by approximately 10%.
- Approved a $2.3 million budget for the City's 1998-99 fiscal year.
- Held a public hearing as a part of the process for applying for a Community Development Block Grant for improvements to the water system.
- Came to an agreement with the Blue Grass Area Development District and City engineers, GRW, to share equally with the City in the overspending of $48,000 on the nearly completed sewer rehabilitation project.
