CONCERT SERIES 2010

Bridge

The fourth season of the Stonebridge Summer Saturday Night Concert Series will open July 3rd at 7 p.m. on the Downtown Green in Wilmore. Chairs and tables will be provided, as well as refreshments for purchase from a local food vendor, or bring your own blankets, chairs and snacks. The concerts are free* and open to the public and begin at 7 p.m.

Due to the construction at the Downtown Green, there will be no concerts in June.

July

3rd: Bill Hall & Copperstone: Oldie-Goldies in rock & country
10th: Blend: A Cappella Doo-Wop (www.myspace.com/blendspace)
17th: Eight Days A Week: A Beatles tribute band (www.eightdaysaweekband.com)
24th: Kentucky Travelers: Americana music from Bluegrass and swing to folk (www.carlasings.com)
31st: LOVE (Lexington’s Original Viola Ensemble) & the Firebird Chamber Ensemble: classical

August

7th: Grey Squirrels: Western Swing/Cajun/Gospel
14th: Kava Java Trio: Pop/ Blues/ Urban (www.kavajavatrio.com)*
21st: No concert; attend the 6th Annual High Bridge Homecoming Festival at High Bridge Park
28th: Picnic Under The Stars: Our final free Summer Saturday Night Concert for 2010 will feature
the big
band sounds of The MetroGnomes (www.themetrognomes.com) with optional catered dining.


Rain Location: The Wilmore Campground Tabernacle, 709 E. Main St.

*Wilmore-High Bridge Community Center & the Jessamine County SAVE Center: This year we are asking attendees to bring non-perishable food items which are not past expiration date or canned or bagged dog or cat food. These donations will be given to the Wilmore-High Bridge Community Center and the Jessamine County SAVE Center. Your help is greatly appreciated!
