GOSPEL SERIES 2009
Opening on Friday, June 5th, at 6:30 p.m., on the Downtown Green, will be Wilmore's latest venture into open air music. "Gospel on the Green" will feature from two to three groups of gospel music performers each Friday evening and with bring in all genres of gospel: Southern, Bluegrass, Folk, Rock. The Wilmore Downtown Green will have tables and chairs and a local food vendor each Friday night but attendees may bring their own blankets, lawn chairs and picnic baskets. Restroom facilities are available. Rain location will be at the Wilmore Campgrounds.
Although free and open to the public, donations to help offset the traveling expenses of the groups (all are performing "gratis" ) will be accepted.
Also donations of non-perishable food items for the Wilmore-High Bridge Community Center will be collected each Friday evening.
